Privacy

linkmee.store makes short links. When you tap one, we send you on to the page it points to, such as a product page in an online store. That site's own privacy policy applies there.

What we record

We count each tap: which link, when, your approximate country, and the kind of device and app you tapped from (for example, Instagram on an iPhone).

In the countries where we measure ad campaigns, we may also record your IP address, your browser's user agent and the IDs in the cookies below. There we also use your IP address and user agent for up to 30 minutes to stop abuse and to avoid counting the same tap twice.

Cookies

In those countries we may set up to three cookies: a random visitor ID, and the browser and click IDs that Meta uses to measure ads. Each lasts 90 days from your latest tap.

Sharing

If a link is part of an advertising campaign, we may send details of your tap, including the IP address, user agent and cookie IDs, to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) so the advertiser can measure results; Meta's Privacy Policy covers how Meta uses them. Our pages reach you through Cloudflare, which handles your IP address to deliver them.

When we don't track you

Outside those countries, when we can't tell your location, or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we set no cookies, record no IP address, user agent or IDs, and count every tap.

How long we keep it

We delete IP addresses, user agents and IDs from our records once your tap has been reported, and after 7 days at most. Backups keep copies for up to 90 days. We keep the tap counts.
